Ardenmohr Villa Interior Design, Scotland

A whole-home interior designed to honour the villa's heritage while making it warm and liveable for modern family life. The scheme flows from a grand entrance hall through an open living and dining space, into a tailored master bedroom and a cosy loft snug built for movie nights. Designed by our Dubai studio for a client in Scotland.

Ornate ceiling roses, full-height wall panelling and herringbone oak floors set a timeless backdrop. A tartan stair runner and plaid wallpaper nod to the Highlands, while oak shelving frames a marble fireplace with a wood-burning stove. Fluted crystal chandeliers, a marble dining table on a fluted base, bouclé armchairs and deep taupe panelling in the bedroom and loft bring a refined, cocooning warmth to every room.

Deep taupe panelling, plaid wallpaper and a floating oak vanity wrap the master bedroom; under the eaves, the loft becomes a snug with a built-in media wall and a window seat for reading.

Materials used in this design

Light wheat oak herringbone runs through the living spaces and bedrooms; Aria White and Karachi Grey set the foyer floor; Calacatta Gold wraps the kitchen island, range and splashback over tumbled Ostuni stone; Laurent Black defines the bar; Nobu White and handmade-look Vicentina tile dress every bathroom.
